Thrifty Finds and an Anniversary!

Yesterday was me and Gabe's 6th month anniversary. Now..before you roll your eyes hear me out cause it's super adorable ;)
  I met my boyfriend last September and he had never had a girlfriend before or even his first kiss. So being that this is a whole new experience for him we are celebrating the little milestones that get taken for granted. I haven't celebrated a 6th month since high school but this was a really cute and special reason to do so. I painted him a picture of the first time we held hands. It happened on the people mover at the fair and the sky was a burnt orange and it apocalyptic looking. It was perfect and so sweet.
   He surprised me with a BAG FULL OF TROLLI BURGERS...... I was in seventh heaven and I nearly sickened myself on them before dinner. He also bought me the hunger games cookbook (cooking posts soon to come!) and the Forks over Knives cookbook. We have been toying with the idea of going to a plant based diet.

      This weekend at the flea market he also bought me this adorable stuffed red deer from the 60's. It has a beret and is just too cute. I'm trying to think of a cute french name for it. Any ideas?
   He's standing next to my favorite mug which I found thrifting at the goodwill. I love the little strawberries!
