New Items In the Shop!

Last night I posted a handful of new items in the shop. I'm so excited. Lately I've been finding totally amazing things. Actually ever since I got pickier about what I bought is when I started to find awesome dresses. So here they are with a cute little bathing suit tossed in as a prelude to summer.

I love this dress so much! I found it at a flea market  right when Viva Las Vegas was going on and it was Easter. The place was a ghost town and I loved it. I wish all flea markets felt like that. I squealed and was so stoked that I had been picky with what I bought because I found this at the last moment. To boot, it actually fits me! I prefer the wiggle dresses though and still mourn the one that I sold (you can see it here)

The blue dress is up in my shop right now :) Take a look.

I also posted a pretty 1950's Bathing suit.

And here is a sneak peek of whats to come in the next few days! I have so many cute items to put up.I'm feeling very motivated right now since school is finally coming to a close. Gabe and I are also hoping to make a trip up to Portland this summer to see the sites and do a bit of vintage thrifting. Can't wait!

Sneak Peek of the Day!

Last weekend I was in Pasadena helping my parents at the a Flea Market and I scored big time! My family owns a vintage clothing business called Vintage Blue Moon and occasionally we do the Vintage Expos in LA and a few flea markets from time to time. I help them out for extra cash and last weekend I was up at the crack of dawn...the witching hour, to go work this show.
Being awake at an ungodly hour means first dibs on all the amazing vintage. I'm not really one to be up and at em at 3am but after set up I realized that's when anyone can find the best vintage. At 6am I was browsing the booths and came across all of these amazing dresses. I even scored a 1950's De Weese dress in a large size for 15 bucks! Everything else I found for below $40.
I was happy as a clam ladies. A huge plus is that I don't look like a dealer. When I have gone with my mother to the flea market sellers always charge a little more than they would because they know she's a dealer and that she's just going to turn around and sell.

I finally learned that it pays to get up early to go to a flea marker because by 7-8 o'clock, everything will have been picked through. So, Sundays out of the month I'll just have to suck it up and break my "up at the crack of noon" policy. :)

These dresses will be up in the shop this week!

Sneak peak! 4/7/12
