Treasures from Home

My mother first introduced me to antiques and vintage clothing. At the time I was extremely bored by all of it because it meant long days spent in a place that smelled like grandmas. I've grown to love it more and more as I got older though and now I can't imagine my home without antique brick-a-brack
I shot a few pictures of things my parents have given me over the years, Enjoy!

My mom gave me this little ceramic kitty when I was in high school and it is so darn cute. I love ceramics like these but my absolute favorite are by Kay Finch. My mom has a whole collection and they are so cute. One is of a large pink and white Persian cat that I plan to make mine one day ;). Take a look at how cute kay finch antique ceramics are here.

I had a love affair with this print last year. My parents were doing an antique/vintage show in Del Mar (They sell vintage clothing too!) and this gem was in the booth across from us. I obsessed about it the whole time and by the end of the show it had sold! :( I was bummed. Turns out that 6 months later my parents gave it to me for my birthday. My dad purchased it when I wasn't looking. I was so excited! I love how distinguished the dog looks and the caption.
